To further the mission of Critical Care Nutrition to improve nutrition practices in the critical care setting through knowledge generation, synthesis, and translation, Dr. Heyland and his research team in Canada have partnered with researchers from around the world.

Dr. Heyland  attended the Asia Pacific Critical Care 2008 conference in Sydney, Australia, on 30 October – 2 November 2008 and had the opportunity to meet many of the dietitians that participated in the International Survey 2007, including Dr. Andrew Davies and Siouxy Morrison at Monash University.
