Rupinder Dhaliwal is Project Leader for the Clinical Evaluation Research Unit (CERU) at Kingston General Hospital, Kingston, Ontario, Canada. She has extensive experience working as a Registered Dietitian. She is the Executive Assistant of the Critical Care Clinical Practice Guidelines Committee and has played a key role in the development of the Clinical Practice Guidelines for Nutrition Support in the Mechanically, Ventilated, Critically ill Adult and the Comprehensive Clinical Practice Guidelines for Ventilator Associated Pneumonia . She has been involved in several research projects related to nutrition support in the critically ill including Surveys of Current Practice, the Dissemination and the Update of the Canadian Clinical Practice Guidelines. She is the project leader for the CIHR funded REDOXS© Study, a multi-centre randomized trial of Glutamine/Antioxidants in the critically ill. She has also written several publications and presented at many national conferences.
